Delivery information
This policy explains how Furstatec Furniture schedules, transports, assembles and hands over orders across Kenya, including same-day Nairobi orders, intercounty delivery, customer collection, difficult access, inspection and redelivery.
Last updated: 2 September 2026
1. Delivery coverage
Furstatec Furniture delivers office furniture to customers across Kenya. Depending on the destination, size of the order and transport requirements, delivery may be completed using a Furstatec vehicle, a contracted courier or another suitable logistics provider.
Delivery availability is subject to practical access, road conditions, security considerations, courier coverage and any legal or operational restrictions affecting the destination. If the exact delivery point cannot reasonably be reached, Furstatec will contact the customer to agree an alternative handover point or delivery arrangement.
2. Standard delivery charge
The current standard Furstatec Furniture delivery fee is KSh 1,000.
The published fee applies to normal furniture delivery under Furstatec’s standard retail process. Where an order needs exceptional transport arrangements—for example a dedicated project truck, multiple separate trips, specialist lifting equipment, unusual handling or another service outside normal delivery—any additional cost will be explained before fulfilment so the customer can approve it.
3. Nairobi same-day delivery
Stocked Nairobi orders confirmed by 4:00 pm qualify for same-day delivery.
Same-day eligibility depends on the item actually being available, any required payment or order confirmation being completed, correct delivery information being supplied and practical delivery capacity on that day. Orders confirmed after the cut-off are normally scheduled for the next available delivery window.
- Made-to-order, customised, pre-order and out-of-stock items do not qualify for same-day delivery unless Furstatec expressly confirms otherwise.
- A same-day commitment is a delivery-day target rather than a guarantee of an exact minute. Traffic, access restrictions, weather and other conditions may affect arrival time.
4. Delivery outside Nairobi
Orders outside Nairobi normally take approximately 1–3 days after the order is ready for dispatch. Actual transit time depends on destination, route, courier schedule, order size and accessibility.
For deliveries completed through a third-party courier, Furstatec may share the recipient name, phone number, destination, package details and other information reasonably necessary to complete delivery.
5. Delivery scheduling
Customers may request a preferred delivery date and time. Furstatec will make reasonable efforts to schedule the order accordingly and, where practical, confirm the delivery arrangement before dispatch.
A requested time remains subject to item readiness, route planning, transport availability and circumstances outside Furstatec’s control. If the requested window cannot be met, Furstatec will contact the customer to agree the next practical option.
6. Correct delivery information
Customers should provide a complete delivery address, reachable telephone number and any access information relevant to the delivery. Useful information may include the building name, floor, gate or loading-bay instructions, estate access procedure, restricted delivery hours and the name of the person receiving the order.
If the address changes after dispatch or the actual destination is materially different from the address supplied, additional time or transport cost may apply. Where possible, Furstatec will communicate a material change before proceeding.
7. Furniture assembly
Assembly is included at no extra charge for furniture supplied by Furstatec where normal assembly is required.
Assembly does not automatically include unrelated construction work, electrical work, data/network cabling, structural modifications, removal of existing furniture, drilling into specialist surfaces or other fit-out services unless those services are specifically included in a quotation or written order.
8. Stairs, lifts and difficult access
Furstatec does not add a separate charge merely because a normal delivery requires stairs or difficult access.
Customers should nevertheless disclose narrow staircases, small lifts, restricted corridors, unusually high floors, loading restrictions or other access conditions in advance. Where an item cannot be moved safely through the available route, Furstatec may need to agree an alternative method, delivery point or product configuration.
9. Customer inspection on delivery
Customers should inspect the order at delivery before signing or otherwise acknowledging receipt where reasonably possible. Check the product type, quantity and visible physical condition while the delivery team is present.
Visible damage, missing items, incorrect products or other order issues should be reported as soon as possible and ideally within 24 hours of delivery.
- Furstatec may request photographs of the product, packaging or visible damage to help assess the issue.
- Signing for an order confirms receipt but does not remove a legal right relating to a hidden defect or another right that cannot lawfully be waived.
10. Failed delivery and redelivery
Please ensure that an authorised person is available at the agreed delivery location. If delivery cannot be completed because the recipient is unavailable, access has not been arranged, or the address/contact information is materially incorrect, a redelivery charge may apply.
Where redelivery is necessary, Furstatec will communicate the next available delivery arrangement and any applicable charge before the second attempt where practical.
11. Customer collection
Customer collection from Furstatec Furniture is free. The current business location is Liberty Plaza, 1st Floor, Mombasa Road, Opposite The Imaara Mall, Nairobi, Kenya.
Please wait for confirmation that an order is ready before travelling to collect. The person collecting may be asked for the order name, order number, phone number or another reasonable form of verification.
12. Delays outside Furstatec’s reasonable control
Delivery can be delayed by traffic disruption, severe weather, road closures, courier delays, vehicle breakdown, public restrictions, security incidents, supplier delays or other events that Furstatec could not reasonably prevent.
Where a material delay becomes known, Furstatec will make reasonable efforts to inform the customer and provide an updated estimate.
13. Bulk orders, office projects and tender deliveries
Large office setups, institutional purchases, RFQs and tender-related orders may use a delivery plan different from the standard retail process. Where that happens, the written quotation, purchase order, delivery schedule or project agreement will set out the specific arrangement. Requirements can be submitted through the Request a Quote page.
14. Delivery questions and problems
For delivery questions, address changes or a problem with a delivered order, contact Furstatec Furniture at sales@furstatecfurniture.co.ke or call 0143 397 929.
These website policies explain Furstatec Furniture’s current operational terms. They are not intended to exclude or reduce any consumer or data-protection right that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable Kenyan law.
